Recruitment continues until Friday May 7th for the Livingston County Summer Youth Employment Program.
Eligibility is based on AGE, INCOME, and RESIDENCY. It's important to know, a youth with a disability is no longer considered a "Family of One" for income purposes. In fact, having a disability is not an eligibility factor at all.

We are mailing a handful of applications and marketing material to all the school districts and other community based providers of youth services. We will gladly mail you applications upon request. Encryption software prevents me from attaching the packet to this email and would require you to create a barracuda account.
Interviews will be scheduled with the individual applicant and conducted remotely through Zoom. There are quick links on our website to replace a social security card, birth certificate, and steps to obtain a work permit including the application they would normally obtain from the high school. If you are a school district, please consider communicating to parents and students, where they can pick up an employment certificate application. Consider, also, reminding 16 year old’s that their certificates expired when they turned 16 and they will need a new one.
We had a very successful summer last year despite COVID restrictions and protocols. A great deal of care and attention went into providing a safe employment experience.
