In line with state guidance, the district's mascot task force has recently presented its recommended action plan to the Board of Education as part of the ongoing process to select a new mascot.
As we continue to be transparent with these changes, Superintendent Powers is set to host a series of half-hour presentations on Thursday, December 7, between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM. This initiative aims to provide the community with an overview of the proposed action plan and offers an opportunity for residents to ask questions and engage in a constructive dialogue.
The presentations will be scheduled at each half-hour mark, allowing community members to choose a convenient time slot.
