Today was Joy Day at Keshequa Elementary, and our students spent the day spreading kindness and cheer! 🧡
They worked on projects like making wreaths and a holiday video for local nursing home residents, creating decorations for local businesses, caroling, and crafting seed ornaments for our animal friends.
The fun didn’t stop there – everyone enjoyed an exciting Glow Party and ended the day reflecting on what brought them joy. It was a beautiful reminder of the impact small acts of kindness can have on our community. 🧡

Ms. Lawson’s 1st-grade class has recently been on a journey through time, exploring how families and communities have changed over the years.
The students kicked off the unit by creating autobiography timelines with their families, sharing their unique stories and personal histories. They then dove deeper into understanding the differences between families from long ago and today.
To wrap up the unit, students got creative by designing their own family representations!
