It's been a month of festive discoveries as our elementary school students dove into the diverse and wonderful ways countries around the world celebrate the holiday season! From heartwarming customs to joyous festivities, our young learners are soaking up the spirit of the season. 🌟

KCS Junior Elizabeth Wood recently noticed that Golisano Children's hospital was looking for community help with collecting Christmas donations for children that are hospitalized or receiving treatments during the holidays and wanted to help.
With the help of her family and several National Junior Honor Society and National Honor Society members along with Advisors Sarah Bull and Nicole Ives, we collected over 50 items that will be donated to children at Golisano.
A heartfelt shoutout to our community partners - Christine's Style's, Nunda PO, M&T Bank, Nunda Pharmacy, and Parkside Diner - for graciously serving as drop-off locations as well.

We're continuing our "Worky Wednesday" career lunches, where students can explore different career fields during their lunch period.
This month students from grades 5-8 got hands-on insights into the world of carpentry with Jeff Pasnik, a skilled Union Carpenter. Meanwhile, grades 9-12 were treated to an exciting workshop on the dynamic field of computer programming by Jim Bucki, the Director of Information & Technology at GCC.

👨🍳Our little artists in Pre-K had a blast today!
After diving into multiple versions of the classic Gingerbread Man story, they put their creativity to work and decorated adorable gingerbread houses!

🌟 Career Explorations in Pre-K! 🌟
Our little learners had an exciting week diving into the world of careers! Today, they had the pleasure of meeting Jessica DeCramer, a dedicated postal worker at the Nunda Post Office.
Last week, they got a visit from Deputy Gerace, our school resource officer, who shared insights into the world of law enforcement. And let's not forget our recent visit with Elsa Emo, a fantastic local veterinarian, who opened their eyes to the wonders of caring for our furry friends!

Our 4th grade students recently got to step back in time while visiting Mills Mansion, which is located in Mount Morris.
Students were able to jump back to the 1800s to learn about the life of Brigadier General William Mills and experience life before modern technology!

This past Friday, our Pre-K students created holiday cards during our Joy Day events. We're thrilled to announce that these special cards are now heading to Keshequa graduate Levi Howe and his fellow Marines!
We hope these cards can bring a touch of warmth to Levi and those serving with him this holiday season, and we want to thank him for his service to our country!

❄Join us for a Winter Fun Fest on December 7th! ❄
While parents attend parent-teacher conferences, students are invited to a fantastic time in the Nunda cafeteria!
🎮 Games, a photo booth, and multiple activities await you in the cafeteria!
📚 The Book Fair will be open in room 1159, and for even more fun, participate in Book Fair Bingo in room 1170 for a chance to win a fantastic book!
🧥 Help us spread warmth this winter by participating in our "Leave a Coat, Take a Coat" drive in the hallway next to the Book Fair.

The snow in the air means the Keshequa Holiday Concert is right around the corner!
Join us on Wednesday, December 20, at the Nunda Auditorium to hear some of our talented students ring in the holiday season!
The concert will start at 5:30 P.M. and everyone is invited!

We're still buzzing with excitement from last night's roller skating party for our amazing Pre-K through 4th grade students!
We're thrilled to share that we had a fantastic turnout of 110 skaters!

Our talented elementary students have once again filled our hallways with the colors of the season! 🦃
They've crafted incredible Thanksgiving decorations that not only fill our school with warmth but also weave in valuable lessons along the way!

🍁🌟 Today was truly special as our Elementary Student Council hosted a heartwarming Thanksgiving Dinner for over 135 local senior citizens! 🦃
Our guests were treated to a traditional Thanksgiving meal, while fellow students entertained the group with songs.
A huge thank you to our amazing student council and everyone who made this memorable event possible!

To highlight the important work our school psychologists do to help our students succeed, November 6-10 marked National School Psychology Awareness Week.
🖍️ Our Elementary School classrooms got creative and showed their appreciation by coloring in mugs to adorn Mrs. Krezmien's door. Each colorful masterpiece is a symbol of gratitude for the positive impact she has on our school community.

What a heartwarming way to honor our local veterans!
On Thursday, our Elementary School welcomed local veterans in for a Veterans Day Breakfast. Our veterans were then escorted to the cafeteria by some of our scouts- where the whole school got together to sing patriotic songs and personally thank each veteran for their service.
Gratitude and community spirit shine bright in the moments like these! 🇺🇸

Get ready to roll! The Keshequa PTSA is thrilled to announce a Roller Skating Party for our awesome students in Pre-K through 4th grade! That party will take place on November 20, from 2:30 - 5 P.M. at the Dalton Gym. Tickets will be $6 and refreshments will be available for $1 each. Permission slips will be sent out next week, so keep an eye on your backpacks! Parents, please mark your calendars to pick up your little skaters at the Dalton bus loop at 5:00 PM. Let's make this a day of fun, laughter, and smooth moves!

🎃👻 Our Elementary School Halloween Costume Parade was a spooktacular success! 👻🎃
We had an amazing time walking the halls and showing off our fantastic costumes to our fellow students. Then, we took the fun outside to give our parents a Halloween treat.
But the fun didn't stop there! Our Student Council had a blast going from grade to grade, carefully judging each costume in our contest.
A big thank you to everyone who participated and made this day so special.

🎃🍭👻 How sweet is this treat? Our Kindergarten students were all smiles today as they were invited by the Livingston County Government Center for a special Trick or Treat adventure! The excitement was contagious, and we're so grateful to the wonderful coordinators who made it happen. A big shout-out to the adults who put on this spooky fun event for our little ones! 🧡
