D.C. Day 2: Today our students had an incredible day exploring the heart of our nation’s history and culture. The day began with a visit to the White House, followed by stops at some of Washington, D.C.’s most iconic museums and landmarks.
They experienced the wonders of flight at the Smithsonian's Air and Space Museum, admired masterpieces at the National Gallery of Art, and took a deep dive into our country's past at the American History Museum.
Students also visited the National Archives, explored the Natural History Museum, and stood in awe at the Washington Monument. The day also had a powerful and moving visit to “Daniel’s Story” at the Holocaust Museum.
It was a full day of learning, reflection, and unforgettable experiences!

🇺🇸 Today, some of our 7th and 8th graders kicked off their Washington D.C. adventure with powerful and meaningful first stops.
They visited Arlington National Cemetery, paid their respects at Commander William Donovan's bench at The Pentagon, and took in the breathtaking Air Force Memorial and US Marine Corps War Memorial.
A moving start to a memorable trip!

🇺🇸 Last week, we shared that some of our students had the opportunity to learn about and write letters to veterans participating in an Honor Flight. We're proud to share that this past weekend, those heartfelt letters were received!
A huge thank you to the incredible veterans for their service—and to our outstanding students for the care, compassion, and effort they put into every word.

🌍💚 Over the past two days, our 5th–12th grade students came together to celebrate Earth Day by giving back to our community! They helped pick up litter across our local area, making a real impact on our environment. Great job, everyone! 🌿👏
