🎵✨ Get Ready for The Jingle Bell Jukebox! ✨🎵 Our elementary students have been hard at work preparing a festive treat—The Jingle Bell Jukebox musical! 🎶 Join us on Thursday, December 19, to enjoy their amazing performances. Performance Schedule: 🎶 9:00 AM: Parents/Guardians of PreK, Kindergarten, and 1st Grade 🎶 1:00 PM: Parents/Guardians of 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Grade The musical will also be posted on our YouTube page following the performances. We can’t wait to see you there to celebrate the holiday spirit with us! ❄️

🎓 TONIGHT is FAFSA Filing Night! 🎓 Parents and seniors planning to continue their education after graduation—this is for YOU! Join us from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM in the HS Library for our FAFSA Filing Night. The Geneseo Office of Financial Aid will be on-site, offering one-on-one assistance to help you complete your 2025-26 FAFSA application. Don’t forget to bring the required items listed in the flyer! This is an important step in securing financial aid for college—don’t miss out!

Today was Joy Day at Keshequa Elementary, and our students spent the day spreading kindness and cheer! 🧡 They worked on projects like making wreaths and a holiday video for local nursing home residents, creating decorations for local businesses, caroling, and crafting seed ornaments for our animal friends. The fun didn’t stop there – everyone enjoyed an exciting Glow Party and ended the day reflecting on what brought them joy. It was a beautiful reminder of the impact small acts of kindness can have on our community. 🧡

Ms. Lawson’s 1st-grade class has recently been on a journey through time, exploring how families and communities have changed over the years. The students kicked off the unit by creating autobiography timelines with their families, sharing their unique stories and personal histories. They then dove deeper into understanding the differences between families from long ago and today. To wrap up the unit, students got creative by designing their own family representations!

Before break, we had the privilege of celebrating our Elementary Students of the Month AND our Elementary Bus of the Month – Bus 159! 🚌✨ A big round of applause to all of our hardworking students for setting the bar high and being incredible role models. Keep up the amazing work – we’re so proud of you!

🦃🎈Kindergarten Thanksgiving Parade! 🎈🦃 Our kindergarteners kicked off their Holidays and Traditions unit by learning about the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Today, they brought the magic to life with their own handmade balloons and hats, parading through the halls for all our elementary students to enjoy! We hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving Break and we'll see you on Monday!

🎓 Important Financial Aid Events! Mark your calendars for two key events to help with college financial aid! On Tuesday, December 5, 2024, at 6 PM in the HS Library, join us for College Financial Aid Information Night to learn the basics of financial aid, which applications to file, types of aid available, and important deadlines. Then, on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, attend our FAFSA Filing Night in the HS Library. The Geneseo Office of Financial Aid will be on-site to provide one-on-one assistance with filing the 2025-26 FAFSA application. Don’t forget to bring the required items listed in the flyer. These events are your chance to get prepared and stay on track for college!

🍂🦃 A Heartfelt Thank You! 🦃🍂 We want to extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who joined us for our Senior Citizens Thanksgiving Dinner today! To our amazing guests, thank you for sharing your warmth and laughter with us. And to our incredible students and organizers who made it all possible, we couldn’t have done it without you. We had such a wonderful time and hope you did too!

📅 Schedule Reminders 📅 Next week, Monday and Tuesday, November 25 and 26, will be half days for all students, with parent/teacher conferences taking place in the afternoon. Following that, school will be closed for Thanksgiving Recess from Wednesday, November 27, through Sunday, December 1. We hope everyone enjoys a safe and restful holiday break! 🦃

Mrs. Waight’s 7th grade Spanish class recently experienced the vibrant world of Hispanic culture at a live performance by the Hispanic Flamenco Ballet! 💃🎶 From passionate flamenco dancing to lively Spanish guitar music and stunning traditional costumes, the show brought the rich history of Spain to life. The best part? Our students got to join in on the fun! A few brave volunteers stepped on stage to try out some flamenco moves themselves!
